Well, it’s been a while since I posted here but would like to ease back into by linking over to a few interesting things. This one had me laughing out loud, and amazingly, it is real and written by an ambassador.

The point he makes, hilariously, is also deadly serious. The single most important thing that can be done for African poverty is to free up agricultural trade with the Continent.
I am trying to find the research relating each 1% of agricultural market share to incomes in Africa. I Googled a bunch an still haven’t found it.
I would be willing to bet that a few percentage points of market share would dwarf the amount of well-intended but unaccountable aid that lines the pockets of dictators every year. And it would be sustainable. Help me with the numbers...
The US is not blameless here either, especially with cotton. If you are a person who considers yourself an advocate for the poor, lose the idea of gov’t farm help and adopt the idea of free trade.

We don't need to meet again for we are just passers by.To forget is the best commemoration for each other.
